Welcome to the Kith & Kids shop donations page, which raises funds for our Lifetime Advocacy Support Project.
Here you can book a collection of a few items or arrange a complete house clearance.
All fees for the House Clearances also go to benefit the charity.
House Clearance
We offer a full house clearance for you.
Any items that are saleable and are able to be donated to klasp there will be no charge as this will help us raise funds for our advocacy project.
If anyone is able to gift aid these donations, it will enhance the funds for our advocacy project, and we’ll also be able to tell you how much has been raised, which many people value.
For items that we are not able to sell, we take to a commercial waste disposal. This is the part where we will need to charge. All our costs are transparent. We load the van with items to be disposed, drive to a commercial waste site and go onto a weighbridge. We then unload and return to the weighbridge and pay the weight charge in advance. At this point the clock stops. You know when we start and the invoice from the waste site has a timestamp, so you know when we finish.
You simply reimburse the weight invoice and pay the man & van rate for the time.
Various Donations
If you have a selection of a few items you wish us to collect, please provide us an idea of what is being donated, with pictures, if possible.
We accept donations of furniture: sofas, sofa beds, tables & chairs, armchairs, coffee tables, bookcases, as well as bedroom dressing tables, bedside cabinets & chests of drawers.
We would also appreciate artwork, vinyl records, antiques & collectibles and various household items
We also sell quality vintage or new clothing.
As we can PAT test, we are able to sell small electrical items such as TV’s, Hi-fi’s, cameras, lamps, train sets, kitchen mixers, lava lamps, hairdryers; anything in a working a saleable condition.
Please note, we are not able to sell large electrical items such as dishwashers, washing machines or tumble dryers, fridges or cookers. Nor do we sell beds, mattresses, sheets or blankets, children toys or clothing, wardrobes, large display cabinets, cots, prams or pushchairs, or disabilities aids
All items donated must be clean and unbroken please
